Civil Air Patrol is all about Volunteer Service

If you are interested in having the Civil Air Patrol assist you with your organization's needs, please contact us for availability!

Volunteer at the Wings and Wheels Event in Brunswick, helping the Midcoast Regional Redevelopment Authority put up tents to help keep visitors dry.  Even in the rain, approximately 200 people came to visit the exhibits and enjoy the food trucks.  Civil Air Patrol was there to help!

Working with the Topsham School Department, the 021 Composite Squadron provided the Color Guard for the dedication of the MIA/POW chairs at the Jr High School and at the Orion Center.

Working with Sharon Eggleston of the Maine Space Grant Consortium, the 021 Brunswick Composite Squadron joined other presenters at the Brunswick Jr High School to teach middle school students about the forces of flight and the ideas behind the science of flight.  A great benefit, our cadets met Duane 'Digger' Carey (Retired Astronaut).  Digger piloted the space shuttle Columbia on March 1, 2002, during a Hubble Space Telescope servicing mission.

Civil Air Patrol cadets learn Aircraft Ground Handling techniques as they volunteer their time working with the International Seaplane Fly-In organization.  The weekend following Labor Day is always the weekend you can find CAP cadets and senior members working hard to move planes, crowd control, and water distribution.

Working and helping the Maine Emergency Management Agency during the COVID pandemic, cadets learned about putting others' needs above their own and learned outstanding leadership skills.

Whenever you have a need, Civil Air Patrol can be there with a solution.
